didn't want to go back to jail. >> reporter: he was arrested for violating a retraining order. a woman called police to report merick. police arrested him on bethany home with no problems. last time merick was in jail he stay for more than a year accused in the 2015 highway shootings. the charges were later charged but can be refiled. millions in that case. so who filed the case of merick breaking the case. we went to the last known address for merick at his girlfriend's.
